This weekend was an extended holiday weekend for most Americans as last Thursday was the Fourth of July.
We ventured down to our home-away-from-home the family farm and came across some new Starbucks items…
First was another wonderful trip on Amtrak and even though it’s not too much of a hassle to stock up on Starbucks beforehand I REALLY wish Starbucks would get a presence on Amtrak eventually! Hey, if there is a Starbucks on a cruise ship… why not a beautiful, Coast Starlight Amtrak train trip?! Heaven only knows how many passengers I have had comment on how they wish they had some Starbucks for their train trip too!
After we arrived on Friday July 5th I immediately found a new Starbucks Discoveries Iced Cafe’ Favorites on the shelves of my go-to grocery store, the Centralia Safeway (which I think is a test market store). I asked my social media channels (Twitter, Instagram, FB, etc.) if others had seen them and the consensus was they were new, so I took a couple home to try. I have to say that they are a lovely tasting family sized option that saves you money on the individually packaged ones and they are ONLY 120 calories per serving which keeps my bikini-goal this summer in check! I would recommend trying their cool, low-calorie option for sure during these warm summer months.
We enjoyed our weekend full of sunshine, family, more than enough fireworks and of course mommy’s favorites… bonfires, Ukulele’s and Starbucks!
I did stop by the small Starbucks inside the ever-popular Great Wolf Lodge. Though they didn’t carry the extensive menu options I’m used to they are a quick stop from the farm and it’s always fun to experience the people-watching of the GWL while you wait for your frapp.
When there I did come across a very cute child’s milk container (or “moo-gnificent”) organic option that I don’t remember seeing before.
My youngest enjoyed this MOO-gnificent option tremendously!
WOW! July is already filling up with all the Starbucks summer events happening!
